Mrs. Mamie B. Byars 81, died Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bell Bandy, east of Kell.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 P.M. today at Panther Fork Church, of which she was a member. The Rev. Roy Beal and the Rev. Melvin Chambliss officiated and burial was to follow in the church cemetery.
The Osborn Funeral Home of Kell was in charge of the services.
Mrs. Byars was the widow of the late Elmer Byars.
She is survived by four sons, Tom, Elva and Wallace of Kell and Dalmer of Mt. Vernon; three daughters, Mrs. Bell Bandy of Kell, Mrs. Icel Bandy of RFD Iuka, and Mrs. Edith Robinson of Morland, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and on great great grandchild; for brothers and four sisters.
