MRS DIAMOND, NATIVE RESIDENT OF AREA, DIES

Mrs Alma Owens Diamond, 75, of 4440 Westway, a native Dallas-area resident, died Sunday in a Dallas Hospital.
The daughter of the late Rev and Mrs George W Owens of Dallas, Mrs Diamond was born in Lancaster. She was a charter member of the old St. Mark's Methodist Church South which is now the Oak Cliff Methodist Church, and was also an active member of Highland Park Methodist Church.
She was a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service and a former member of the Young Women's Christian Association board of directors and the Dallas Women's Club.

She is survived by a son, Lawrence O Diamond of Dallas.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Geo.

A Brewer Funeral Chapel, 3603 Ross, with Dr Fred Edgar and Dr Marcus Chunn officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood
Cemetery. Pallbears will be Avery mays, J T Hollis, Louis O Blaylock, Lloyd Blaylock, George D Blaylock, Ben Spugin, J D Vanderwoude, and M C Turner, Jr.

Mrs Alma Owens Diamond, 75, of 4440 Westway, a native Dallas-area resident, died Sunday in a Dallas Hospital.
