Everett S Owens, Ex-Banker, Dies

Funeral Services for Everett S Owens, 64, a former Dallas bank president and longtime resident here, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Sparkman-Brand Funeral Chapel,
2115 Ross. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Owens died Friday night in Grand Rapids, Mich., where he had been in business for more than 10 years. He was president for many years of the old North Texas National Bank in Dallas prior ot its merger. He also served as vice-president of the George W Owens Lumber Company for several years prior to moving to Grand Rapids.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs [Alice]Sam Lancaster of Dallas, Mrs [Cecile] Tom Pace of Casper, Wyo., and Miss Jane Owens of New York City; a sister Mrs Lawrence Diamond
of Dalals, and 12 grandchildren.

Bio: In 1910 Everett married Cecelia Reagan, called Cecil, the daughter of Dr Reagan of Tyler, Texas. The couple divorced in Dallas.

One of Everett Owens daughters was Cecile Owens Pace - born 20 April 1918 Dallas - died 12 Oct 1999 in Denver, Co. and was cremated. Her husband, Thomas Snyder Pace - born 6 Sep 1910 Roswell, NM - died 21 July
2001 Denver, Co and was cremated...
