Mrs. Jennie Blanche Shook, 84, died Friday in the Brookville Hospital. Born February 20, 1873, she was the daughter of Samuel Jackson and Angelina Fox Hartman. She was married in 1895 to James E. Shook, who survives. She was a member of the Grace Evangelical and Reformed Church of Curllsville and the guild of the church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 10 children, Mrs. Bessie Howard of North East, Mrs. Floy Bowersox of New Bethlehem, Ray Shook of Curllsville, Milford and Dale of Sligo RD, Rev. Charles Shook of Mansfield, Ohio, and Kenneth of Sligo RD, and Mrs. Blanche Wiant of Coraopolis. One child died in infancy. Other survivors are 34 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and six sisters, Mrs. Mary Campbell and Mrs. Emma Conrad of Sligo, Mrs. Carrie Henniger of New Castle, Mrs. Sara Booker and the Misses Lula and Ruth of New Bethlehem, RD.
