Mrs. Lois Hunt dies Mrs. Lois Hunt, 77, Garnett, died Friday in a two-car accident in Joplin, Mo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Baptist Church in Garnett with burial in the Garnett Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 28, 1905, near Blue Mound, the daughter of Ebenezer and Lue Dell Swisher Dart. She lived most of her life in Garnett. She was a member of Delphian Lodge No. 44 Order of Easter Star; Rebekah Lodge; and Royal Neighbors, all of Garnett.
She married Fred Hunt Aug. 29, 1924, in Garnett. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Hunt, Lawrence, and Rolland Hunt, Garnett; a daughter, Mrs. Helena Tinsley, Paola; eight sisters, Mrs. Rose Burns and Mrs. Vivian Haynes, both of Garnett, Mrs. Mae Lilly and Mrs. Bonnie Koontz, both of Ottawa, Mrs. Zona Smith, Lawrence, Mrs. Blanche Brady and Mrs. Mary Maxey, both of Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Bernadine Tinsley, Wellsville; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
