Known children were:

Mary [or Marie, b. 26 June 1871, d. 14 June 1891 (dates uncertain as she is also listed as having died at age 21), married Emil Baumgartner; only child named Clara Baumgartner, married Scriver, later lived in Ottumwa, Iowa].

Magdalena's place of burial is presently uncertain; family records state, "She died in 1890 near Fountain Creek and was buried in what is known as Eisenman Cemetery, a tiny semi-private plot in a pasture near a creek." This burial site is reported to be near Peoria, Illinois, but is probably the Old Apostolic Christian Cemetery, near Cissna Park, Iroquois Co., Illinois. Her name may be the one on the monument there, as seen here. (Without dates, it is impossible to say if the name on this monument belongs on this memorial.) "Fountain Creek" is the name of a township in southern Iroquois Co., Illinois, just east of the town of Cissna Park.
