Daughter of Christen Beer (1807-1878) and Katharina Uhlmann Beer. Married Gottlieb Isley 24 April 1866, Canton Bern (he lived 1841-1869). As a widow with 3 young sons, she arrived in America 21 Jan. 1871. The family lived in Cissna Park, Illinois for a number of years, but had moved to Mansfield, Ohio by 1896. Sons Fred (1867-1943), Rudolph (1868-1956), and Simon (1869-1950) all buried at Beer-Lantz Cemetery (Fred is beside his mother). Note: This individual was given the same name as an older sister who had died very young (1836-1839), as was a custom.
