Among her many descendants who are also buried in Beer-Lantz Cemetery are Katharina's sons Fred and John U. Beer, and daughter Anna Beer Isley. Son Peter Beer (1833-1915) is buried Lexington Cemetery, Richland Co., Ohio. Three other sons, Simon, Hans, and Ulrich, are buried at Milford Cemetery, Milford, Indiana. Another daughter, Magdalena Beer Frederick (1830-1890) is buried near Fountain Creek, Illinois. One other son, Daniel Beer (1841-1912) never left Switzerland.
