Loretta Pynes, 87, of Cunningham died Sunday, July 2, 2000, in Paris Nursing Home.

Services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Cunningham Baptist Church with the Rev. C. G. Renfro officiating. Burial was in Restland Cemetery.

Mrs. Pynes was born Sept. 16, 1912, in Cunningham to Charlie and Cassie Chambers Bledsoe.

She was a homemaker and member of Cunningham Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Pynes, in 1984, and by two brothers, Hollis and Jimmy Ray Bledsoe, and a grandson, Dennis Neal Pynes.

Surviving are three children, Dorothy Dean Ogden of Longview, Charles 'Buddy' Pynes and Linda Sue Pynes of Paris; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Frances Sieminski of Grand Prairie, Yvonne Adair of Florida, and Betty Hershour of Ben Wheeler; and two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Bledsoe of Ben Wheeler and Mutt Bledsoe of Linden.

Pallbearers were Clifton Bazhaw, James Bazhaw, Trey Gifford, Brandon Moore, Darwin Pynes, and Bryan Hawkes.
