Willie "Dale" Brackett, age 65, of Seneca, Missouri, died Friday at ST. John's Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Funeral services were held Monday at the Stidham Baptist Church. Reverends Boney McIntosh and Tim Brock officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Merritt Funeral Service of Eufaula.
Pallbearers were Terry Deon Brackett, Joe Briley, Larry Gray, Jim Watkins, Bob Briley and Jim Briley.
Mr. Brackett was born, March 14, 1922, at McIntosh County, Oklahoma, the son of Carl Willard Brackett and Dona (Whisenhunt) Brackett. He was retired from Johns Maneville Company of Lompoc, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Rodger Brackett; a Brother, Willard Brackett and two sisters, Novis Brackett and Vera Sutton. He is survived by his wife Louise of the home; two sons, Willie Deon of Seneca, Missouri and Allen Carl of Tulsa; three brothers; Sam and Carl both of Stidham and Byrl of Eufaula; four sisters, Gladys Womack of Cameron Park, California, Rosie James, Retha Edwards and Gearlene Hearod all of Eufaula, 8 grandchildren and 4 great Grandchildren.
