Opal Louise (Tinney) Brackett, 74, passed away November 12, at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, at the Merritt Funeral Service Chapel, Eufaula, with Dr. Jack Perkins, First Baptist Church, Eufaula, officiating.
Casket Bearers were Josh Brackett, Terry Brackett, Roger Alexander Way Hurd, Rocky Brackett and Bim Brackett. Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery, Eufaula.
Louise was born, April 6, 1926, in McIntosh County, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Elbert and Mary (Pittman) Tinney. She was married to Willie Dale Brackett at Stidham, Oklahoma, April 14, 1942. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Dale Brackett; one son, Rodger Dale Brackett; and a granddaughter, Shannon A. Brackett.
Survivors include two sons; and daughters-in-law; Willie Dean and JoAnn Brackett, of Seneca, Missouri, Allen and Sandy Brackett, Joplin, Missouri; one sister, Earlene Demay, of Lancaster, California; one brother, Nick Tinney of Lompoc, California; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
