Minnie Alberta Record of Weymouth Street, Saco, widow of Wallace R. Record Sr., died at a Kennebunk nursing home Thursday morning after a long illness.
Born in Biddeford, February 19th, 1885, she was the daughter of Charles S. and Elizabeth (Nason) Carle.She was educated in the Biddeford school system and was a member of the United Baptist Church She is survived by eight sons; Clayton C. of Belleville, NJ, Arthur C. of Arundel,Wallace R. Jr. of Brookline, MA, Earle L. of Biddeford, Donald R. of Kennebunk, Herbert D. of Saco, Leroy S. of Hollywood, CA,and Paul R. of Saco; seven daughters, Mildred Danis of Arundel, Gladys Pate of Saco, Hayzel Rogers of Dayton OH, Arlene Coburn of Saco, June Michel of Springfield, MA, Doris Adkins of Dayton, OH, and Lorene Harmon of Saco; 30 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and cousins.
Services were held at Shumway Funeral Home on Saturday, July 1, at 2:00 PM. Clergyman was Rev. Morley J. Durost and arrangements were by Robert O. Littlefield. Internment was in Greenwood Cemetery in Biddeford.
