Wallace Record Jr.

Saco - Wallace R. Record Jr., 64, a resident of Meserve Circle, died suddenly Monday at a Portland hospital.
He was born in Biddeford, April 10, 1913, the son of Wallace R. and Minnie A. (Carle) Record Sr.. He graduated from Biddeford High School.
He was employed for 10 years as a machinist at the Kittery Naval Shipyard and for more than 20 years as a foreman at the Greene Shoe factory in Boston, MA. He retired two years ago, moving to Saco.
Surviving are his widow, Lena (lausier) Record of Saco; seven brothers, Clayton C., Donald R. both of Kennebunk, Arthur C. of Arundel, Earle R. of Biddeford, Herbert D. of Old Orchard Beach, Leroy S. and Paul R. both of Saco; seven sisters, Mildred Danis of Arundel, Gladys Pate-Simpson and Lorene Harmon both of Saco, Hazel Rogers and Doris Kemp both of Dayton, OH, Arlene Coburn of Old Orchard Beach, and June Michel of Springfield, MA., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Dennett & Craig Funeral Home, Saco. The Rev. Robert Brennan of Most Holy Trinity Church, Saco, officiated. Interment was in the family lot in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Biddeford.
