Clayton C. Record Sr. of Kennebunk, formerly of Belleville, New Jersey, died Sunday, October 17,1982 following a long illness.
He was born in Biddeford May 6, 1904, son of Wallace R. and Minnie A. (Carle) Record Sr. and was educated in Biddeford and Portland schools.
Record was a food service supervisor for the Western Electric Company in Kearney, New Jersey for many years. He retired to Maine from New Jersey 10 years ago.
He was pre-deceased by his parents and his brother Wallace R. Record Jr.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Marchesani) Record of Kennebunk; daughter, Shirley (Record) D'Uva; sons, Clayton Jr., Ronald and Albert all of New Jersey; brothers Arthur of Arundel, Earle of Biddeford, Donald of Kennebunk, Herbert of Old Orchard, Leroy of Saco, Paul of North Waterboro; sisters, Mildred Danis of Arundel, Gladys Pate-Simpson, Hazel Rogers and Lorene Harmon of Saco, Arlene Coburn of Old Orchard, June Michel of Florida and Doris of Ohio, and many nieces and nephews who loving called him Uncle Dudley.
