Mrs. Amy Bash.

GALENA, KAN., - Mrs. Amy Bash, 77, died at 1:23 a.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Hospital where she was admitted Monday.

She had lived at the Galena nursing home for the last 14 years.

Mrs. Bash was born Aug. 9, 1896, in Galena, Kan.

She was a member of the Tennessee Prairie Friends Church, located near Galena.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Elton Wyatt, Mrs. Virginia Sturgeon and Mrs. Frank Ellsworth, all of Baxter Springs, Kan., Mrs. Robert Mills, Joplin, Mrs. Joseph Jenkins, Galena, and Mrs. Clyde Hairgrove, Richmond, Calif.; four sons, Leslie L. Bash, Joplin, James Bash, Galena, Leroy Bash, Houston, Tex., and Clayton Bash, Richmond, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Lula Frazier, Picher, Okla.; 24 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Schurman Funeral Home, Baxter Springs. The Rev. Harry Shallenbarger will officiate.

Burial will be in Lowell Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Wyatt, Carl Sturgeon, Raymond Sturgeon, Bobby Mills, Everett Shallenbarger and Jimmy Bash.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home until the service hour.

Note: Pallbearers were grandsons.
