Doyle Obray Danielsen entered the world in 1930 and had nearly 93 years to make his name known and overcome life's obstacles. Doyle had more life stories than Reader's Digest has ever published. They included his parkour exploits as a young man outrunning the neighborhood bullies of the day to driving his Bronco-orange Nissan 370z convertible through nearby canyons. Doyle was an entertainer. His world renowned Tarzan call made its way from the Arvada Target aisleways, recording it for a ringtone, and across the Atlantic in Europe. He always welcomed an audience and made sure he had a joke to share.
Doyle was also a US Army veteran. He spent the majority of his military time in France. While in Europe, Doyle was a special attache to one of the leaders of the European Command. When Doyle returned from his service, he decided sales was his avenue to success - and it certainly was!
Doyle started work as an outside salesperson for a plumbing supply company. It was quickly apparent that he could take on the world, so he did. Doyle went on his own and started representing companies like Knaack, Weatherguard, Marco, Fluidmaster, Pelican and more. In the mid-1970's Doyle acquired the company that became Doyle and Associates. For more than 30 years, Doyle and Linda ran the company until their retirement.
Speaking of Linda, that all happened in 1966, at a local Denver bowling alley. From his side of the story, it was love at first sight. Doyle, however, had to first survive Linda's dad and older brother. With his keen wit and conversationalism, Doyle survived and they were happily married for more than 55 years. They enjoyed building their business, bowling, and golfing locally.
Doyle is survived by his wife, Linda Jo, adult children Terry Grace and Courtney Danielsen, Echo Blue, sisters Margaret Ann Bolt and Shirley Pino, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 2nd at 10:30am, followed by a brief service celebrating his life at 11:00am, at Aspen Mortuaries at 6370 Union Street, Arvada, CO.Doyle will be buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
