William J. Wasinger, 89, retired farmer, former Gamble-Robinson truck driver and former Fort Hays State University maintenance department employee, died Thursday, June 17, 1993.

Vigil 7:30 p.m. today, Brock's North Hill Chapel; service 9:30 a.m. Saturday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Survivors: son, William L. of Hays; daughters, Betty Diederich of Hays, Mary Logan of Denver; sisters, Rose Rickert of Pompano Beach, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with St. Joseph Elementary School and Thomas More Prep-Marian High School.
