U. R. Lasher, of Ford City, died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Fred John, of near Montgomeryville this Monday morning at seven o'clock. The deceased resided in Ford City, with his wife and three children and about ten weeks ago was attacked by typhoid fever. Seemingly recovered he went to visit his mother some two weeks ago, where he suffered a relapse, death resulting at the time stated. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Death Shock To Friends
Word was received here yesterday of the death of U. R. Lasher of Fourth Avenue which occurred early Monday morning at the home of his parents in Cowansville, Mr. Lasher had but recently recovered from an illness of typhoid fever and had gone to the country to recuperate but the trip proved too much for him and a relapse followed. Mr. Lasher and family have resided here for several years and his untimely death came as a great shock to his many friends. Up until the time of his illness he was employed in the casting hall department of Number Four factory. The deceased's wife and three children survive. The interment will be made at Cowansville.

Ulyssess Robert Lasher, aged 30 years, seven months, and 15 days died at 7 a.m. on Monday March 30, 1914 in Washington Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania after an illness of 6 days. Mr. Lasher a laborer by trade was born August 15, 1883 in Pennsylvania the son of William Lasher & Minervia McCoy. He leaves a wife. Funeral Services were in charge of undertaker WM & C.R. Snyder of Cowansville, Pennsylvania. Burial was made on Wednesday April 1, 1914 in the Limestone Cemetery. Information was provided by David Bowser.
