A Former Ford City resident Edward H. Lasher, 76, of Butler died Thursday (Sept. 23, 1976) at Butler County Memorial Hospital, Butler. He was owner and operator of Lasher-Bish motors in Ford City until his retirement in 1959. Born March 19, 1900 in Washington Twp., he was the son of William and Minerva (McCoy) Lasher. He was a member of the first Baptist church of Ford City. Surviving are his wife, V. Joy (Benton) Lasher; Daughter Mrs. Kenneth (Phyllis) Thompson of Butler; brother, Claude Lasher of Pittsburgh; sisters, Mrs. James (Orpha) Vensel of West Kittanning, Mrs Ivy Leroy of Pittsburgh; and two grandchildren. Lasher-Friends of Edward H. Lasher, who died Sept. 23, 1976, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Kittanning, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by Rev. David Ludeker. Burial will be at Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Arrangements by Snyder of Kittanning.
