MILAN, N. H. - Mrs. Abigail Hancock, 64, wife of Sidney P. Hancock, and a native of West Milan, died unexpectedly Sunday morning in a Claremont Hospital following a brief illness. She had lived in Claremont since 1935. She was a communicant of the Methodist Church. Surviving besides her husband are five sons, Norman S., Milan; Lester H., Whatley, Mass.; John W., White River Junction, Vt.; Francis F., and Philip A., both of Woodstock, N. Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Bernard Nyzio, East Longmeadow, Mass.; four sisters, Mrs. Marie Bell, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Nina McCarthy, Fairfield, Me.; Mrs. Ruth Bean, West Stweartstown, and Mrs. Sally Sjores, Granby, Vt.; two brothers, Samuel Hodgdon, Moultonboro, and William Hodgdon, Belfast, Me.; and 12 grandchildren.
