MILAN, N. H. - Samuel Hodgdon, 67, died, Thursday at the Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro. He was born at West Milan and was a police officer in Berlin 17 years before moving here in 1943. He was a groundsman at the Bald Peak Colony Club until his retirement. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marjorie Harriman Hodgdon; a son, Samuel Fox Hodgdon Jr. of Center Harbor; six daughters, Mrs. Pauline Harris of Whitefield; Mrs. Laura Leighton, Mrs. Marlene Porter and Miss Patricia Hodgdon, all of Moultonboro; Mrs. Geraldine Judson, Mrs. Beaulah Cordwell, both of Berlin; a brother, William Hodgdon of Frfeedom, Maine; three sisters, Mrs. Nina McCarty of Fairfield, Maine; Mrs. Sally Shores of Granby, Vt.; Mrs. Ruth Beane of West Stwartstown; several grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
