NORWAY - Mrs. Octavia M. Hagar, 77, widow of Leslie Hagar, died Wednesday morning at CMC Hospital, where she had been a paitent one day. Born Sept. 1, 1877 at West Millan, N. H., daughter of Fox and Abigail Scales Hodgdon, she resided with her son, Demerritt Hagar, Norway Lake. A citizen of this town 24 years, she was a member of West Milan, N. H. Methodist Church. Surviving are her son, Demerritt Norway Lake; five sisters, Mrs. Marie Bell, California; Mrs. Nina McCarty, Fairfield; Mrs. Bruce Bean, West Stewarstown, N. H.; MRs. Sideny Hancock, Claremont, N. H.; and Mrs. Ceylon Shores, Gransby, Vt.; two brothers, Samuel Hodgdon, New Hampshire, and William Hodgdon, Montville; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
