Mrs. Emma N. Wascom died Sunday, September 13, 1981, at Dixon Memorial Hospital, Denham Springs. She was 73 and a resident of Walker.

Survived by her husband, Melvin Joseph Wascom, Walker; three daughters, Clara Mae Wascom, Janice Melba Lott and Beverly Jean Reine, all of Walker; two sons, James Wascom, Jonesville, and Alfred Wascom, Greenwell Springs; two sisters, Vivian Cronk and Allie Graham, both of Walker; two brothers, Edward Covington, Walker, and Earlo Covington, Watson; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Carroll Baptist Church.
