Died 2 a.m. Monday, June 13, 1988, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home, Denham Springs. He was 81, a lifelong resident of Walker. He was a retired Livingston Parish Police Jury employee. Visiting at Judson Baptist Church, Walker, 10 a.m. Tuesday until religious services at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Nerelin McCon. Interment in Vickers Cemetery. Survived by two daughters, Janice Lott and Jean Reine, both of Walker; two sons, James Wascom, Jonesville, and Alfred Wascom, Baton Rouge; a sister, Loretta Wesley, Denham Springs; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was a member of Judson Baptist Church.
