Mrs. Charles C. Keeler, of Riverside [Emporia neighborhood], has left for Sioux City, Iowa, where she will visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Widby, and her sister, Mrs. Lulu Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. Widby, who formerly lived in Emporia, are celebrating their sixtieth wedding anniversary. They came to Emporia in 1879 and Mr. Widby was in the grocery business and operated a store in the 500 block on Commercial street until 1904. They then moved to Sioux City. Mr. Widby soon opened a grocery there, which he managed until 1928 when he retired. Mr. and Mrs. Widby now live with their daughter, Mrs. Spencer. Besides their two daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Widby have one son, Will J. Widby, Des Moines, Iowa; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
