Jesse Northington Dead
Jesse Northington, 87, died this morning at his home in Kansas City, Missouri. The body will be brought to Emporia and funeral arrangements announced later.
Mr. Northington was born in Johnson county, Tenn. in October 1859 and married Callie Slimp February 11, 1879. The couple spent several years of their married life in Lyon county, later moving to Kansas City, the present home. Mr. Northingham is survived by his widow; a sister, Mrs. Laura Widley, Riverside Gardens; a brother, Dr. John Northington, 927 Market; and two nieces, Mrs. Charles Keeler, Riverside Gardens and Mrs. Rice Brown, 1223 Lawrence.
