Mrs. Ratia May Klusmire, 85, Holton, died Monday in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted July 13 and underwent surgery July 17.

She was born July 15, 1893, in Soldier, the daughter of John and Eliza (Baker) Minner and lived in Holton more than 50 years. She formerly was a teacher in Kansas and New Mexico several years.

Mrs. Klusmire attended Faith Baptist Church in Holton.

She was married to Charles H. Klusmire June 17, 1925, in Soldier. He died December 7, 1959.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Justine Anderson, Closter, N.J., and Mrs. Charlotte Lacy, Huntsville, Ala., a sister, Mrs. Bertha Forster, Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Claude Minner, Carlsbad, Calif., and Clyde Minner, 1178 Clay, Topeka; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church in Holton.
