Caroline Christine Huberty was born 24 Feb 1892 to Nicholas 'Nick' Huberty and Elizabeth (nee Ulmen) in Apple Creek, Wisconsin. She was their first child.
Caroline married William Peter Knuijt 14 Sep 1911, and the couple would have 7 children together. Sadly, William suffered a stroke in Mar 1928, and Caroline worked as a seamstress to help support their family. Willlie passed away in 1936, leaving Caroline a widow. She married Charles 'Charlie' Bender 8 Sep 1937.
She passed away 23 Nov 1981 at a care home in Kaukauna and was buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Appleton.
