Eleanor Augusta "Gussie" Lowry was the fifth child born to David and Mary (Leslie)Lowry. She married Henry Gardner on May 5, 1887. They had three children (Frank, Henry, and Nellie). He passed away in 1896. She then married George W Townsend on March 29, 1904.
She was a seamstress, and later a correspondent for the Janesville Gazette for many years.
