Funeral Services for William R. Hamilton, 67, were conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Church of God with Rev. O. C. Gilbert officiating. Burial was at Indian Creek Cemetery under the direction of Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home.

Hamilton, who resided at 1916 SW 9th Avenue, was found
dead in his automobile Friday morning on NE 1st Street, near the Baker Hotel. He died, apparently following a heart attack.

He was born March 15, 1897 in Brad. Parents were John Perry II & Wilhelmina Hamilton and had been a resident of Mineral Wells for 30 years. A civil service employee, carpenter, at Fort Walters, he was a veteran of World War I and amember of the Church of God.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Katherine Moore Hamilton of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Joyce Hendrick & husband Ronald Hendrick of Houston, Mrs. Doris Holder & husband Joe of Mineral Wells, and Ruth and Rosa Hamilton of Mineral Wells; six sons, William C, George and John all of Mineral Wells, Jimmy Hamilton of the U.S. Navy, Harold Hamilton of Graham and William Hamilton of Odessa; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Robertson & husband Bill, Mrs. Anna Lyon, both of Graham and Mrs. Frances Bowers of Fort Worth; one brother, John Hamilton III & wife Ethel of Kamey and one grandson Ronnie Hendrick of Houston.

Pallbearers were Fred Armstrong, Foy Atkins, Bud Harris, Cleburn A. Walker, Olen A. Adkins and J. R. Burns.
