Services for Mrs. E.M. Lyon, 78, were held from St. George Episcopal Church at Bossier, City, Louisiana. Graveside services were held at Nash, Oklahoma. She was buried beside her husband.
Mrs. Lyon was employed at the Western Union desk in the Driver Hotel for many years. She was a member of the Salem Crestview Methodist Church at Graham, Texas. She was a member of the J.P. Hamilton pioneer family in Graham, Texas. She had been making her home with a son at Bossier City for two months.
Survived by four sons - W.E. Lyon, W.D. Lyon, A.M. Lyon, J.E. Lyon; three daughters - Mrs. Leo R Schimmel, Mrs. William H Kasper, Mrs. Warren W Stott; one brother - John Hamilton; two sisters - Mrs. Bismark Bower and Mrs. Bill Robertson; 38 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
