Edna L. Schwartz, 90 of Lafayette died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2001 in Home Hospital. She had been in failing health the past six months.
Born September 10, 1910 in Tippecanoe County , she worked at the Fashion clothing store in Lafayette for 30 years after retiring in 1976.
Mrs. Schwartz was a member of First Christian church Order of Eastern Star, Hope Chapter 5 and Home Hospital Auxiliary.
Her marriage was to Richard B. Schwartz on June 27, 1936 and he died December 9, 1987.
Surviving is sister Ruth D. Mertz (husband John) of Lafayette.
