Muza L. Ayres, 84 of 508 South 15th Street died unexpectedly in her home Friday.
Mrs. Ayres was born May 27, 1908 in Wea Township, Tippecanoe County. A lifelong resident, she married Floyd Ayres in 1956 and he died April 12, 1961.
She attended Wea Township School and was a homemaker.
Mr's. Ayres was a member of First Christian church.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. John (Ruth D.) Mertz and Mrs. Richard (Edna L.) Schwartz both of Lafayette.
Friends may call 6-8 pm today, Landis Loy Funeral Home. Service there 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Joan Williams officiating. Interment Bunnell Cemetery, Frankfort, Surviving are three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Omer Owen Fagan.
