He was the son of the late Hayes Richard Ace and Katherine L. Lowers Ace.
He retired from Penreco, Karns City, where he worked at the Hill Plant, after 22 years of service.
A private in the U.S. Army, he served our country from Nov. 18, 1952, during the Korean War, until he was honorably discharged June 7, 1957.
He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Chicora.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, repairing his cars and spending time with his family.
