Marie A. Timblin, 85, formerly of Hilliards, died at 2:50 p.m. Sunday [19 May 2002] at Clairview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Sligo, after an illness. Born in Shippenville, Clarion County, Feb 19, 1917, she was the daughter of Hays and Catherine Lowers Ace. She was Protestant. Surviving are five daughters; two sons; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Two sisters; three brothers, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Her husband, Mark W. Timblin, whom she married Dec. 7, 1933, died Oct. 1, 1990. She also was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
TIMBLIN – Friends of Marie A. Timblin, who died Sunday, May 19, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, Wayne Street, Parker. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday [22 May 2002] at the funeral home. Burial will be at Concord Presbyterian Cemetery, Hooker.
