ARLENE (RECORD) COBURN- - Arlene (Record) Coburn of Saco (formerly of Old Orchard Beach), widow of Alton Coburn, passed away Friday morning, September 25, 2009, at St. Andre's Health Care Facility in Biddeford. Arlene was born in Biddeford, one of 15 children, to the late Wallace Ronella and Minnie Alberta (Carle) Record Sr. on July 10, 1914. She attended Biddeford schools and at various times during her life, worked in retail. Arlene was a member of the Saco United Baptist Church.
Arlene is survived by two daughters; Joyce Lamontagne and her husband James of South Windsor, CT, and Judith Coburn-Harris of Bangor. She is also survived by five grandchildren ; Karen O'Brian, Lori Cerone and her husband Peter, David Lamontagne and his wife Michele, all of South Windsor, CT, Chris Harris and his wife Jennifer of Roslindale, MA, and Siobhan Harris of Bangor. Arlene also leaves her beloved great-grandchildren; Selina and Nicholas Lamontagne, Mikala O'Brian, Alexander Cerone, Kyle, Brett and Breanna Kernan, all of South Windsor, CT. Arlene is survived by two brothers; Paul Record of North Waterboro and Herbert Record of Old Orchard Beach, and two sisters; Doris Kemp of Dayton, OH and June Michel of Fort Worth, TX. She was predeceased by brothers; Clayton, Arthur, Wallace Jr., Earl, Donald and Leroy Record, and sisters; Mildred Danis, Gladys Pate-Simpson, Hazel Rogers, and Lorene Harmon.
There are no calling hours. Internment will be in Greenwood Cemetery on October 3, 2009 at 1:00 PM. Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Homes of 369 Main Street, Saco are completing arrangements.
