Bio
— Find a Grave is constantly being changed. — I'm not sure of a lot anymore. I have found I am unable to keep up with all of the edits and messages due to this, and my previous and current health problems.
On the 6th of February 2024, I broke my left hip. My surgeon told me if I had to break it, I broke it the best possible way and it should heal quickly. It has healed, but I'm still not walking very good. My balance is bad. Even before the hip broke my entire left side was a problem. My balance wasn't quite as bad.
My wonder chiropractor and friend Dr. Carol Faye Shelton #131473367, told me all the years I went to her, my problems were caused on my right side, and my neck making it seem like it was my left side. My neck is getting better which helps all over. Better or worse can change in a flash.
That's still part of the problem. My brain is not always working as well as it once did. Only part of it is caused by Dyslexia. I had a very good memory.
I needed and still need space and paragraphs.
PLEASE, PLEASE, when adding or removing information from my memorials don't remove or cram all of my Biographies together and etc. to fit your own style.
I and other members just may have good reasons for fixing our memorials our way.
I was fortunate that my dad had experience with it, a niece had it before me. It didn't seem a real handicap growing up in the many different ways I was affected by it.
My grades were good. Had I been going to a Country School I could have been moved up a grade like my mom's niece was. She was able to read without having been taught.
Reading, writing, speaking and hearing. Some of my problems with reading was getting back to the left side of the page from the right and spelling, similar spelled words, the first I remember were SAW and WAS.
I heard with no problem, except I didn't and don't always hear what is actually being said.
Typing was a real problem when having to type what I was reading. I wasn't that good just typing either.
Spelling and Arithmetic, I had to be sure the letters and numbers were written in the correct order I was thinking.
A stroke in the 80's on top of Murcormycosis and other problems set me back. The find a word puzzles I had liked, I could see the words in any direction. If I did them long enough, when I changed back to normal I had problems.
I will [continue to] do what I can, when and where I can. Most of the edits and messages are being automatically answered. I have a lot of memorials and still add more when I can.
I appreciate all of your help and understanding with Find a Grave. Thank you, and BEST WISHES to you all.
Please check all of my profile for more information.
Unless they are improved: PLEASE NOTE: The Profile one sided comments are [still] not a good place for questions about much of anything if wanting an answer.
Many obits I use are from my sister, Peggy Jenkins Kreiger (#48113358), now deceased and our deceased mother, Ruby Bash Jenkins' obituary collection. Peggy also took photos at cemeteries for me, and went to Libraries and Genealogical Societies, while being full and part time employed.
They did anything they could to help me with things for FaG.
With Peggy's death, I no longer have access to my Genealogy books and Genealogy magazine collection with my name on them that was in their houses.
I also have photos from John Schehrer, Big John (#46634520) & Betty Saltenberger (#47066478), that I may use with their permission.
Photos I have used from other Find A Grave members are used with their permission.

b. Mar. 23, 1920 d. Jul. 23, 2014
She loved flowers. She made her own from crepe paper & decorated Jenkins family and other family graves of people who had died before she was born, as well as those she had known, until she began to buy artificial or real ones. She was still interested in gardening and growing flowers at 94.
Please leave some of your flowers with her, and my dad, he loved flowers too.
