Walter was the 7th child of Wells Joiner and Celia Ann Elizabeth Causey. The first 6 sons were born down in Sumter Co. Georgia, and Walter was the first child to be born in Campbell Co. Ga., and was the first son who was too young to fight in the Civil War. The family moved north to Campbell Co, now Cobb Co, sometime between Joel's birth and Walter's birth, so between 1846 and 1849. Walter went west to Texas and married Sarah (Sallie) Evaline Humphries 12 Aug 1880. Walter was my great great Grandfather.
