Mrs. David R. Hodges, 77, Chicago, a native of Blanchardville, died Sunday, July 27, 1975 in Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, Ill.

The former Grace Amerpohl, was born May 25, 1898, a daughter of Ulrich and Margaret Gould Amerpohl. She attended Blanchardville schools. On Sept. 6, 1930, she was married at Woodstock, Ill., to David R. Hodges. She had spent her entire married life in Chicago.

Surviving are her husband, David, a brother, Henry Amerpohl, West Allis, and four nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Services were held at 1:30 Wednesday, July 30, in the Saether Funeral Home, Blanchardville. Rev. Perry Bell of the Blanchardville United Methodist church officiated. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.
