Son of Thomas C. Poor and his 2nd wife Martha Jane Haynes. Daniel was born 1859 or 1860, he was an infant on the 1860 census for Delaware Co IN, age 9 on the July 18 1870 census. He is age 20 on the 26 June 1880 census still living at home, working the farm with his widowed mother, but did not reappear on the 1900 census and did not move with his widowed mother and sisters when they left IN and moved to early Butte MT.

It is unknown whether he married and moved or died.
