Laura Bell Poor was the daughter of Thomas C Poor and his 2nd wife Martha Jane (Haynes) Poor from Delaware Co. IN. Laura married first on 11 Aug 1886 in Wells Co IN, John W. Perfect born Nov 5, 1865, the son of John Perfect and Sarah (Coffel) Perfect from IN and moved to Butte MT with him.

They had 2 children: Ionee Perfect born 10 July 1892 Butte MT and John Herbert Perfect born 17 May 1894 Butte. It is not known what happened to first husband John W. Perfect but family said he was 'thrown out', took off and the children said he never contacted them (believed divorced), but Laura remarried 2nd on 23 Sept 1912 in Butte, Silver Bow Co MT, a widower named James A. Dorwan born Silver City, NY, the son of Charles and Mary (Franklin) Dorwan. Witness at the wedding was her daughter Ionee Perfect.This marriage must not have lasted. James Dorwan b. Buffalo NY remarried July 1920 an Alma Bloomquist and he died May 27 1947 in Seattle, WA.

Laura married last, Charles Allen Clarke born 8 July 1877, the son of George Albert Clarke b. 3 Apr 1851 and his wife Susan Seidenbender who had married 15 Sept 1876. At the time of this 2nd marriage Laura shaved some years off her date of birth and was buried as Laura Perfect Clarke b. 1875 (the birth year which is definitely not correct. )This was also a 2nd marriage for Charles Allen Clarke. He had first married a Maud and lived in Denver CO and had two children with her (they divorced by 1920). Laura died from a severe infection of her face and head which began with infected teeth.
