Wiley Shackelford, 80, lifelong resident of the Iberia community, died at his home there Tuesday. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Shackelford leaves his wife, Lucy; two daughters, Mrs. Lena Kimker, Kirkwood and Mrs. Jessie Roark, Kansas City; a foster son, Walter Shackleford, Kirkwood; two brothers, Roscoe and John Shackleford, Iberia; three sisters, Mrs. Sally Golden, Mrs. Tilda Forester and Mrs. Odie Gardner, all of Iberia; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm today in Hedges chapel, Iberia, with the Rev. James Bade officiating. Burial will be in the Iberia Cemetery.
