Roscoe Shackleford, 82, of Iberia, died Thursday at the Miller County Nursing Home, Tuscumbia.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm today at the Iberia First Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Earl Brown will officiate with burial in the Livingston Cemetery.
Mr. Shackleford was born June 7, 1995, at Iberia, the son of Myrl and Mary Forrester Shackleford. He was married to the former Miss Lizzie Slone, who died April 13, 1958.
Surviving are fours sons, Roy and Raymond Shackleford, both of Iberia, Clarence Shackleford, Clarksburg and Withrowe Shackleford, Indianapolis, Ind. Also surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Lena Shelton, Iberia; one sister, Mrs. Ollie Gardner; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mr. Shackleford was a retired farmer.
