Mrs. Elizabeth Shackleford died at the home of her son Roscoe, of near Iberia, Sunday at the age of 86 years.
She is the mother of 15 children, 8 of them living. Wiley and Roscoe of Iberia; John of Ceres, Calif., Robert of the State Hospital in Fulton, Mrs. Sallie Gordon, Mrs. Tilda Forrester, Mrs. Ollie Gardner and Mrs. Susie Setser of Iberia. She also leaves two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at the Fairview Church Tuesday by the Rev. John Phillips and interment in the Livingston cemetery.
