Susie Setser, daughter of Merril and Mary Shackleford was born in Miller County, Missouri on August 22, 1876 and passed away at the Miller County Nursing Home on March 30, 1954 at the age of 77 years 7 months and 8 days.

On December 7, 1893, she was united in marriage to Adam Setser who passed away February 22, 1922. To this union eight children were born.

When she was a young girl she was united with the Methodist Church. She had spent her entire life in and around Iberia, Missouri.

Those who survive are the one son Arthur of Iberia, Missouri and two daughters, Maggie Wickham of Granite City, Illinois and Grace Wickham of St. Elizabeth, Missouri, four brothers, Wiley, Rosco and John Shackleford of Iberia, Missouri and Robert of Fulton, Missouri; three sisters, Ollie Gardner of Iberia, Tildia Forrester of Iberia, and Sally Golden of Iberia, Missouri; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, also three sons, Ray, Homer and Chester and two daughters Bertha and Delphia.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday April 1, 1954 at the Iberia Nazarene Church. Reverend A. O. Shearrer officiating. Internment was made in the Livingston Cemetery with funeral arrangements under the direction of Hedges Funeral Homes of Iberia, Missouri.

Pallbearers were Okley Kinder, Spurgeon Atwill, Berry Livingston, Henry Shackleford, Unknown Williams and xxford, Jimmy xxxx and Clay Perkins.
