VALPARAISO -- Florence M. Affeld, 70, of Valparaiso, died Monday, January 16, 1995 at the Mary E. Bartz Hospice Center, Valparaiso.
She was born February 29, 1924, in Valparaiso, the daughter of Ernest and Jennie (Bastel) Affeld.
She was a realtor for several years with United Realty of Valparaiso and a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church of Valparaiso.
Surviving are a sister, Rose (Virgil) Hess; two brothers, Robert (Sally) Affeld and Vernon (Dorothy) Affeld, all of Valparaiso; a sister-in-law, Florence Affeld of South Bend; amd several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Services 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Valparaiso; the Rev. Joseph Molitoris officiating; burial at Graceland Cemetery; visitation 4-8 p.m. today, Tuesday, at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso. Memorials to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Organ Fund.
