ARMAGH — SNIDER – Bertha R., 93, Armagh, died Oct. 27, 2011, at LaurelWood Care Center. Born April 16, 1918, in Piney Creek, daughter of the late Dossie and Maye (Akers) Barnes. Also preceded in death by husband, Robert B. Snider; brothers, Roy, Alfred, Clarence, Elden, Grant, Elmer, Sherman and Merle Banes; and sisters, Blanche Rose and Mildred Barnes. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Valley Grace Brethren Church, Armagh. Friends received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Norris B. Mason, officiating. Interment, Bedford Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Valley Grace Brethren Church, 11815 Route 56 Highway East, Armagh, Pa. 15920.
