MRS. ALEX McCURDY
Mrs, Isabella McCurdy, 76, widow of Alex McCurdy, of 134 Arlington street, died Sunday at the family
residence. She was born in Ballymena, Ireland, and came to Canada 60 years ago, settling first at Sanford. Man.
She lived there for 25 years, Later she moved to Winnipeg and made her home here. Mr. McCurdy died
22 years ago. She was a member of Home street United church and was associated with the Women's auxiliary
and Women's Missionary society. She is survived by three daughters (sisters), Mrs. John Pirt. of Winnipeg:
Mrs. John Parks (Parker), of Sanford. and Mrs. D. McFee, of Headingly, and seven brothers, Matthew Rodgers,
and Hill, of Winnipeg; Thomas, Samuel, John and Robert, of Sanford. and David, of Graysville, Man.
The funeral service will be held at 12.45 p.m.. Tuesday, at the Gardiner funeral home, Rev. C. H. Whitmorc
officiating. The body will be taken to Sanford for burial.
