Frank H. Belden died at his home on South Hill, Wethersfield, yesterday afternoon after an illness of two weeks of valvular heart trouble aggravated by a complication of troubles. Mr. Belden was in his seventieth year and was born in Wethersfield, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elisha Belden. Most of his life was spent in Wethersfield with the exception of a few years when he was in business in Bridgeport. He was for years closely identified with the affairs of the town and probably no man in the town was more familiar with its affairs. He was justice of the peace for nearly fifteen years and tax collector for several years. He was a charter member of the grange and was active in its interests, being its treasurer ever since its organization. He married Martha Griswold, daughter of James and Prudence Churchill Griswold of Wethersfield, who survives him. He also leaves a daughter, Prudence Belden Bannon, wife of J. Elmer Bannon of Wethersfield and a son, James Belden of Lonepine, Mont, also one grandson, Mahlon Bannon. Published in The Hartford Courant
