Robert Houston Earlywine, age 70, died Saturday, September 27, 2003, at Saint Joseph Hospice Care Center, in Lexington, Kentucky, after a long battle with cancer. He was born September 3, 1933, in Fleming County, Kentucky, to the late Harley and Lula Kelley Earlywine. He was retired, longtime night-watchman for Stone Farm.

He is survived by: his wife of 40 years, Sue Earlywine; a son, Bobby "Pete" Earlywine, of Paris; a daughter, Lisa Earlywine, of Paris; a special granddaughter, Karla Martin, of Paris; a grandson, Michael Martin, of Georgetown; a much beloved great-grandson, Bradlie Waters; a brother, Ed Earlywine, of Ewing; and two sisters, Bell Mitchell, of Flemingsburg, and Jean Hunt, of Mason County. He was preceded in death by: four brothers, Audrey Earlywine, Loyde Earlywine, Lewis Earlywine and Clarence Earlywine; and five sisters, Elizabeth Hunt, Iretta Jolly, Francis McIntosh, Ruthie King and Betty Kelly.

A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Burial was in Carlisle Cemetery.
